About the Job
Lead HVAC Installer-Journeyman:
Responsible for installations of new HVAC units and materials according to specifications and established safety guidelines. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in the area of specialty.

- Requires minimum 4 years of experience in the field. EPA Certification A PLUS.
- NATE Certification requested.
- Continued Education is expected.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
- Leads and directs the work of others.
- Reports to immediate supervisor, Foreman.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- The candidate should be able to think outside the box.
- Shall lead by example and arrive on time ready to work.
Other duties include:
- Daily scheduling with Foreman.
- Works well with our Team but also a “Self Starter”- can work with very limited supervision.
- Extensive Customer/Contractor Relations.
- Following through /updating job schedules.
- Orchestrating your crew deployment on a daily basis, in a timely manner.
- Communicate with foreman/office as to job status.
- Assuring weekly crew member’s time entered daily– evaluating yellow job files for completeness daily.
- Sheet metal fabrication possible.
- Ability to perform all Journeyman Duties.
- Familiarity and ability to diagnose HVAC equipment and recognize equipment needs and/or repairs if, necessary
